Our CSTA-MN chapter will meet next week at two separate times on Tuesday (10/24). Each meeting will share the same structure and content. Meetings are scheduled to last 30 minutes. We are offering the meeting at two times to offer more flexibility to join at a time that is most convenient to you.
Minnesota AP/IB STEM Grant – State Fund FY24 through FY26
State funding is available to charter schools, school districts and cooperative units for the purpose of raising kindergarten through grade 12 academic achievement through increased student participation in Advanced Placement (AP), Pre-AP and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs, particularly for historically underserved student groups.
This is the second posting of this grant opportunity; approximately $225,000 is available to fund 3-4 grants up to $75,000 each (max award).
Applications are due November 3, 2023, with an anticipated grant period of January 2024 through June 2026.

This piece introduces a rating system that measures AI involvement in creative works. It ranges from 0 to 5, with 0 indicating no AI involvement and 5 indicating little human involvement. This could be a useful tool in starting that conversation about what collaboration between humans and AI might look like.
